Process

A comprehensive range of low cost, high performance, digital instruments will bright Red LED displays. They are all front panel mount with all configuration done form 4 front panel pushbuttons. Keypad lockout is provided as standard on all models. Provides accurate measurement & display of pressure, level, flow, frequency, DC voltages or currents & revolutions per minute. Options include linearization, analog output, true RMS AC input & alarm set points up to 4 alarms. The display & analog output is scalable from the front pushbuttons. Excitation is standard & is link selectable for 2-wire / 3-wire transmitters, encoders & potentiometer input. Selected options now feature ‘Plug & Play’ technology, allowing option boards to be ordered separately & field fitted when required.

Temperature

A comprehensive range of low cost, high performance, digital instruments will bright Red LED displays. They are all front panel mount with all configuration done form 4 front panel pushbuttons. Keypad lockout is provided as standard on all models. Provides F or K of temperature from thermocouples (selectable from the front pushbuttons) of Type J, K, N, R, S, T, W5 and from RTDs such as PT100. Ni100 RTD is available as an option as well as other thermocouple types. The thermocouple and RTD signals are accurately linearized by the internal micro-controller. Options include programmable analog output, single, dual, three & four alarms, peak hold, RS232/485 output. The analog output is rangeable from the front pushbuttons.. Selected options now feature ‘Plug & Play’ technology, allowing option boards to be ordered separately & field fitted when required.

Weighing

A comprehensive range of low cost, high performance, digital instruments will bright Red LED displays. They are all front panel mount with all configuration done form 4 front panel pushbuttons. Keypad lockout is provided as standard on all models. Provides for mV inputs from loadcells, strain gauges & strain gauge pressure transmitters. The stable bridge excitation voltage includes sense feedback to compensate for line variations. The precision measuring front end circuit ensures high accuracy & stability. The digital filtering feature allows for stable displays in noisy systems. Options include programmable analog output, alarm setpoints up to four alarms, tare function, peak or valley hold, RS232/485 communications & more. A feature of this programmable indicator / controller is the calibration method. The instrument can be pre-calibrated without load cell connections for zero & full scale values, & then on-site calibration can be done for deadweight offset & span calibration (single point test weight trim).

Timing

The indicator has uni-polar & bi-polar pulse / frequency inputs for counting, frequency / speed (dual channel), period, flow, timing, totalizing & positioning applications. It can be used in conjunction with most standard pulse / frequency generating sensors. Sensor excitation is standard & the output voltage is link selectable. Options include analog output, alarm set points up to 4 alarms, BCD output, RS232 or RS485 communications & many more. The display & analog output is scalable from the front pushbuttons. Selected options now feature ‘Plug & Play’ technology, allowing option boards to be ordered separately & field fitted when required.

Serial and Parallel Input

A comprehensive range of low cost, high performance, digital instruments will bright Red LED displays. They are all front panel mount with all configuration done form 4 front panel pushbuttons. Keypad lockout is provided as standard on all models. Provides for remote display of serial data of numeric & alpha-numeric format. These indicators are ideal for applications where multiple slave display units are required. The indicators utilise DPM’s ASCIIbus protocol for easy implementation into almost any system. The indicators come with a choice of either RS 232 input or RS 485 input for bus systems. The display may be set to flash on and off whenever the indicator does not receive valid refresh data within a specified time period. Options include programmable analogue retransmission output, one, two, three or four alarms, BCD output and other options. The retransmission option is rangeable from the front pushbuttons.

Totalizers

A comprehensive range of low cost, high performance, digital instruments will bright Red LED displays. They are all front panel mount with all configuration done form 4 front panel pushbuttons. Keypad lockout is provided as standard on all models. Provides for accurate measurement / totalization and display of pressure, level, flow, frequency, DC voltages or currents and revolutions per minute. Options include linearization, programmable analogue retransmission, true RMS AC input and dual alarms. The display and retransmission is scalable from the front pushbuttons. Excitation is link selectable for two-wire transmitters, encoders and potentiometer input.

Extra Large Displays

The Series 2000 are a range of extra large 3 to 5 digit LED array displays, 125 mm digit height, designed to be used in most process / temperature / weighing applications where high visibility and distant viewing is required. Using high intensity wide angle LED’s in an IP65 enamelled steel housing ensures clear viewing distances of greater than 50 metres. For high ambient temperature conditions, an optional special coated glass window is available.

Typical applications include downtime, time and production control in large factories, the indication of load cell inputs, process signals such as temperature, pressure, level, and AC or DC voltages and currents.

Bar Graph

The Option 3022 Bar Graph Display can be fitted to any 4 digit DPM model except the model 4003,4005 & 4011. The bar graph display provides a vertical graphic linear representation of the process being measured, while the 4 digit (-1999 to 9999) LED display gives an accurate digital readout. As with all 4 digit DPM models, the display and bar graph is scalable from the front pushbuttons.

Belt Weighers

A comprehensive range of low cost, high performance, digital instruments will bright Red LED displays. They are front panel or field install mount with all configuration done from 4 front panel pushbuttons. They are self-contained, easy-to-use indicators for digit LED display (-199999 to 199999). Inputs to the instrument include load cell input, encoder input & totalizer reset input. Included is excitation for load cells and a 18 – 24V DC supply for the shaft encoder. The stable bridge excitation output voltage includes sense feedback to compensate for line variations. The precision front end circuitry ensures high stability and accuracy for millivolt input from the load cells in the weigh belt system.

Options include analog output for external feed rate control, up to four alarms, pulse output for external totalized weight, RS 232 / RS 485 communications and many others. A feature of this programmable indicator / controller is the calibration method. Pre-calibrated ranges can be allocated zero and full scale values and these can be adjusted on site to allow for deadweight / back-balance offset and single point span calibration (test weight trim).

Option 3016

For use with load cell indicators Model 4004 & Model 5004. This product meets European Community EMC directive 89/336/EEC & Low Voltage Directive 73/23/EEC.

Model 7000

The Model 7000 is a DIN-rail mount serial communications isolated converter. It converts RS485 to RS232, or RS232 to RS232, with an isolation barrier rating of greater than 1500V. This product meets European Community EMC directive 89/336/EEC & Low Voltage Directive 73/23/EEC.
