The DTS SMX is a weather-proof energy sub-meter that operates in any environment. It is easy to install and is designed to mount on any surface; providing the most accurate data acquisition. This meter works with all “safe” 333mV, 5A or flexible Rogowski current transformers (CTs) and requires no external power source to operate. A backlit LCD display provides local visibility to the measured parameters.
This meter has some exciting features, including field configurable DIP switches, Fused Voltage Terminals, Auto-topology Phase Detection, on-board CT Reverse Algorithms for automatic correction of improper field mounted CTs; all contained in a weatherproof surface mounted enclosure. For remote configuration, the DTS SMX comes with our free DTS Config software platform; conveniently choose from over 200 parameters at the frequency you require.
Whether communicating via an RS-485 or Ethernet connection, the DTS SMX supports most accepted protocols, including Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, BACnet MS/TP, BACnet/IP, SNMP, DNP 3.0 or LonWorks (model dependent). It easily integrates with Building Automation Systems and Energy Monitoring Software. Also, if you decide to integrate renewable energy sources in the future, the DTS SMX will conveniently operate as a Bi-directional NET meter. It is Designed and Manufactured in the USA and complies with the Buy American Provisions of ARRA Section 1605.
